As is true for many of the great cities in Florida, Fort Lauderdale has some incredibly beautiful parks and recreational areas. Of course some of them are associated with the city’s great beaches, though others are speckled throughout the rest of the city.
Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is one of Florida’s state sponsored and protected parks. It is a wilderness paradise that is easily accessible from the heart of Fort Lauderdale. There are numerous hike paths and plenty of beautiful stretches for bicyclists and skate boarders. In addition, the mile long fresh water lagoon is perfect for a leisurely rowboat paddle. There are plenty of picnic areas with water and electricity located along the channel.

And for those individuals looking for a great theme park or game center, Fort Lauderdale has plenty of those. Uncle Bernie’s Amusement Park is a great place for the entire family. The Colorado River Splash and roller coasters are some of the park’s favorite rides. And if you’re looking for one of the great beach areas, as most people do at one time or another, then you will definitely want to spend some time in South Beach Park. There are plenty of great beach areas and you can find a secluded, quiet spot to yourself or enjoy the great parties and crowds associated with some of the other beaches. Las Vegas is a city that’s known for attracting people from all walks of life, from all over the world. It’s not only able to attract people to its casinos and Las Vegas Hotels , but sometimes is able to work its charms enough to convince people to make their homes here. The local population is diverse and fascinating, and it’s true here as well that they come from all walks of life.

It also has its share of artists working in the city. Some are born here, and have generations of history in the place, and others are transplants, called by its unique energy. It makes for some very lively conversations. Some of these are facilitated by events held in galleries, and some of the conversations happen only in the realm of art, where artists respond to works of art by creating new works of their own.

The Las Vegas Arts Commission is very proactive in the community when public arts projects are concerned. Their recent Celebrate Life! exhibition featured works by artists who were all older than 49 years. In a time when youth culture is so often given the center stage, this is a bold and necessary move toward recognizing that the current generation of artists is a wide cross-section of people, from all walks of life, and of all ages, too.

In the exciting world of software development , new inventions are often welcomed with a bit of caution. For any new technology, and any new product that supports the technology, there is usually a trial period, where the software world waits to see if the new devices will work. There are often bugs in the system, and oftentimes the bugs are expected, in order to perfect what’s been created.

There was a great deal of cynicism about the iPad when it was first launched, or even months before, but it’s had time to prove its worthiness in the world of computer users. With the trial period over, it’s proving to be an indispensable part of life for some, and has replaced the laptop. iPad App Developers now have more career opportunities than ever before, as users find new applications not only helpful, but also extremely fun.

There are often happy marriages between designers and users, but until recently, the development stage usually stops at the beginning of the sale. Ongoing relationships are based on upkeep, and technical support. That’s not been the case with new technologies like this one. Here, it’s a constant interaction between developers and users, so the relationship is one that is more like a conversation than a business deal. It’s exciting to see these directions shifting.

The age of technology has turned people’s lives into a fascinating mix of an existence that is physical and also metaphorical. Almost everything, from shopping to relationships , now has a position in the virtual world, and sometimes the virtual is the center. It’s a shift in thinking that some members of the workforce are born into, and to which others have learned to adjust. In the realm of the workplace, where so many technologies make it possible to connect with other team members with online interfaces, it’s become a kind of virtual lab that’s proving to be as effective as the physical workspaces used to be.

Some of the tasks in changing how team members think are connected to small modifications in the daily routine, and others are a bit larger and take more energy to accommodate. However, the same rules that guided a good team in the past are still very much operative. Cooperation and collaboration are essential, and there needs to be strong leaders with vision who have the larger picture always in mind. The real test, then, will be how well human beings can take the common sense applications from the past, and bring them into the present. The future is here, and it’s limits are only set by the limits of the imagination.
