Picnic Weather in Central Park
Many people like to consider the weather of the location in which they are considering making a visit to. And while New York is an extremely common tourist destination, the weather in the city can be somewhat unpredictable. And that’s assuming the inquirer is considering only the spring and summer months. Of course there is no telling what you might encounter if you start to wonder about fall and winter as well. However, spring can be absolutely gorgeous in New York though it can still get cold and there’s a good chance for rain and summer is fabulous too, though it can get pretty hot and humid , which creates a stuffy and muggy atmosphere. Does all of this seem like too much to deal with? Well, the answer must be no if you ask the millions of people who visit this great city every year, come rain or snow and have no qualms about the weather in making their decision.
Of course, if you’re planning a picnic in Central Park you may very well want to know the forecast for a particular afternoon. Well, recently the weather has been really nice and if trends continue and look anything like the upcoming week there should be a period of really nice weather. Right now the afternoons are ranging from the upper 60s to the mid 80s. Next Saturday the expected high will be 83 degrees and clear sunny skies are expected. You can bet there will be plenty of people in the park that day. But then it doesn’t have to be a beautiful afternoon to fill Central Park. However, a beautiful sunny afternoon never hurt anyone’s plans, unless of course they wanted to sing in the rain. If that is the case then those people are better off going to the park on Sunday when the chance for showers is pretty good, though the afternoon high is expected to be the same.
