Using power tools can be dangerous.  Hammers on thumbs, foreign objects in the eye, cuts and bruises are all things that have happened to me over the years.  Imagine the risks you out yourself at then using power tools and saws!!

Power tools and other contractor tools should always be treated with respect.  They can be a great asset – however they can be dangerous if not maintained correctly or misused. Always use power tools carefully.

Make sure they are looked after and maintained according to the instruction material you receive.
When using power tools and electrical tools it is essential that you wear the correct clothing that protects you and also has nothing loose that can be caught up in the moving parts of the tool.  Wear goggles to protect your eyes and industrial gloves to protect your hands.

Before you use power tools make sure you are familiar with its operation, and read the instruction material.  Make sure you are using it for the purpose it was intended.  Keep your tools clean and maintained – and store in a safe location.   This will add to the length of their life.
