Kuala Lumpur has a Little India section which is found along Masjid India Street, near Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. There are many Indian shops selling traditional Indian items including milk, breads, Bollywood music and flower garlands.
Kampung Bahru is one of the oldest Malay residential area in Kuala Lumpur and is located about ten minutes away from Chow Kit Market. It was founded in the 19th century and there are still authentic traditional Malay wooden houses to see. This makes a great contrast with the modern sections of the city. The Sunday Market is very popular and includes jewelry and clothes, the fabrics, the handicrafts and delicious Malay food.
The Batu Caves is to the north of the city and are located in a large limestone hill which is shaped like a big mound. It is mainly a religious site of worship for Hindus and the main cave includes a few statues and altars. While you walk down past them you will view an opening in the roof of the hill, where sunlight filters in through into the cave.
