I collect the maps that I use when I’m on vacation. I think that they served a great purpose and I hate just discarding them. The Florida state maps that helped me get around prevented me from getting too lost. How else would I have ever found Disney World without a map?

And what about my trust California maps? The got me to So-Cal and to Northern California without problem. And that is a huge state. It seems like two different worlds when you go from one end to the other.

And how on earth could I have just thrown away my Hawaii maps? The islands might be pretty small but there is a lot of road and they are mostly winding. They wrap themselves from the cities to the small resorts that don’t have much around them.

Really, they make the best souvenirs and I like to personify them as if they know when they are not being appreciated. It makes life more fun.
