Have you ever had to figure out how to export your address book on your computer?  Well I was having trouble figuring this out.  Anyway I did a search for export address book and found a site that showed me how to convert to Outlook. and it was easy.  The site was from a company called Connected Software.

I found lots of useful information on this site relating to address books and email.  This included information relating to the global address list to Blackberry and how to migrate from Eudora to Outlook.

This site contains a a large amount of information relating to migrating address books and email.

As a world traveler I surround myself with maps – but not only when I’m traveling.  I refer to maps all day long.  When I am watching a news program about a far off spot I dig out my world maps.  If I’m watching a Canadian nature program I will dig out my map of Alberta.  If I’m watching a cooking show from the Orient I will refer to my map of Asia.  If I’m watching a show about diving in the Caribbean I may look at a map of Aruba or if I am watching how the Amazon rainforest is disappearing at a teriffic rate I may bring out a map of Brazil.

Maps are important to me.  They help to quench my thirst for geographical knowledge.  I’m always looking for ways to increase my knowledge.  And although I am familiar with much of what lies within these maps – there is always something new to discover!

Our lives depend on our tires!

Last week my tire blew out as I was driving to work. Luckily it wasn’t raining. Anyhow I managed to put my spare on and then drove off to work. That got me thinking about how important the humble tire is to all of our lives. It is basically a lump of rubber filled with air! But our lives depend on them – especially when driving at high speeds. How many of us give them much thought? Do we look at them regularly? Check their pressure? Look for wear? I know I should – but I don’t!!

Anyway I went online and bought a new tire and rim. And what a great experience that was. I went with a company called Performance Plus Tire. They sell their products online and ship out a multitude of products. I got my 22 rims and tires and looked at some of their other offerings including 20 inch rim, and 26 rims. All of their tires and rims are shipped quickly and their great customer service makes buying tires online a pleasure. I recommend you go to Performance Plus if you are looking for items like Goodrich tires or 20 rims.

Our lives depend on our tires and rims. Remember to check them regularly!

The stock market has been on the upswing, but few investors are relaxing just yet. This week’s data on housing, retailers and labor costs will give Wall Street an idea of whether the economy is weakening or inflation is accelerating — or both.

Wall Street had a case of the winter blues in January, and understandably. With banks reporting huge losses, uncertainty brewing about whether the economy is in recession, and Americans struggling to keep up with their debt payments, there was nowhere to go but down. The Standard & Poor’s 500 index recorded its worst January since 1990.  Read more
