Papadakis awarded by Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce has chosen University President Constantine Papadakis to receive the 2007 William Penn Award based on the bold actions he took to improve Drexel University, according to a GPCC news release. Papadakis will officially get the award, which was instated in 1949, at the William Penn Awards Gala April 18.

India’s Weekly Inflation Rises
(RTTNews) – Friday, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry released the inflation data for the week ended November 17, 2007. As per statement, India’s inflation for the reported week rose to 3.21% from 3.01% in the previous week and up from Reserve Bank of India’s target of 3% in the medium term.
